task analysis lesson for special education ... - Education Reference

Question by kyle xy: task analysis lesson for special education students?
for a class we need to teach a lesson to our classmates derived from what type of teacher we would like to be. I am planning on being a special education elementary teacher (working with more autistic and down syndrome kids). I am just having consequentlyme trouble contemplateing of a good lesson to teach to my classmates. does anyone have just an idea or a example of a task analysis lesson?

How about baking cookies? Keep in mind what diet restrictions there probably and give two options( ex:sugar cookies or gingerbread). You may intend to to utilize visuals such as Johnson/ Meyers pictures to present choices as well as walking in term of the steps. 1) First gather bowl, spoon, measuring cups etc? You can also photograph objects and laminate the pictures.
